As the Senior Specialist - Marketing, your role will entail designing, creating, developing, and delivering marketing programs that showcase the value and quality of Liberty Security and Surveillance products and services. You will devise the strategy to connect and appeal to end-user customers through the company website, online presence, and various marketing channels, as well as demonstrate the advantages and functionality of Liberty offerings. Moreover, you will create and communicate powerful brand messages and enhance brand awareness, as well as analyze statistics and identify areas to improve marketing performance. You will produce engaging marketing content and explore new sales outlets. You may also supervise the participation in trade shows and workshops.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with category teams for the execution and communication of sales promotions and marketing campaigns from idea to final product, including the development of marketing collateral such as online and social media campaigns, as well as conventional marketing methods such as direct mailers, brochures, flyers, catalog pages, etc.
- Develop strong product knowledge of the Liberty Security portfolio for strategic content creation of white papers and case studies for thought-leadership marketing tactics such as targeted email campaigns, blog articles, social media updates, and media placements.
- Organize regional customer and sales events to drive attendance and engagement with business leads to build robust contact lists for lead generation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal creative teams to develop in-store merchandising programs and signage to promote key products along with monthly marketing flyers and branch communication newsletters.
- Direct and manage the development of new website pages for the Security portfolio within the broader Liberty site for campaign landing pages and drive traffic to key promotions and product highlights.
- Build sales and loyalty programs to drive internal and external sales incentives and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide suggestions on how to enhance or extend marketing initiatives.
- Execute research and analysis activities such as customer surveys, market research, web metrics, and competitive analysis.
- Support the sales and marketing needs of sales and supplier product groups at global, national, regional, and local levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant industry preferred.
- 4 to 5 years required, 6 years preferred of product, solution or field marketing experience, preferably in Fortune 500 company.
- Marketing strategy and implementation, including a working knowledge of multi-channel marketing and associated best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with an ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to internal and external groups.
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with a customer-centric focus and commitment to quality.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to spot questionable information or unusual data trends, combined with a disciplined problem-solving process that applies conceptual thinking to identify root cause(s) and provide appropriate solution(s).
- Able to spot new and evaluate existing business opportunities, including the ability to ask good questions, look beyond the obvious, and see the “big picture.”
- Strong mathematical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), working knowledge and at least basic- to intermediate-level HTML or wordpress skills.
- Strong creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and entrepreneurial drive; able to work with autonomy and self-direction.
- Able to influence others through effective negotiation techniques and strong interpersonal skills, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
