We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Technical Architect to join our team.

As a Senior Technical Architect you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment, you will give direction to leads on development activities.

This position does require three days per week onsite in our Alpharetta, GA office.

Dev Focus

  • Provide TA guidance to the team on WS and their interactions with the frontends (AEM, DMT and Mobile)
  • Provide SME guidance to resolve operational, production and MSO related issues
  • Maintain the WS architecture - address functional gaps, performance, scalability and maintenance concerns
  • Address issues and concerns with external interfaces (primarily IRS)
  • Document architecture and develop in-depth knowledge of assigned domain architecture, and technology portfolio
  • Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for investing in application infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities

Operational and Infrastructure

  • Address issues and concerns with external interfaces (primarily IRS)
  • Lead client onboarding and address backend issues with existing client
  • Support the WS and DMT hosting on Azure, along with routine maintenance and required enhancements
  • Manage and support the operation of other infrastructure items including DB, email provider, Apigee, security compliance, code repos, access management, SSL compliance etc.
  • Demonstrated technical architect skill set and experience for at least 2 years
  • 15 + years in Java full stack integrated environment
  • Overall technical lead experience over 5 + years (in an agile, distributed team environment)
  • Experience implementing enterprise-scale application services
  • Experience in system integration concepts and implementation
  • Experience scaling and optimizing complex applications to thousands of concurrent users with a world-wide, 24/7/365 user base.
  • Experience defining and optimizing SQL Server databases.
  • Experience with designing and developing services and distributed architecture
  • Experience with monitors, semaphores, locks and threading
  • Experience with spring microservices
  • Experience with Azure cloud, hosting and supping Azure services
  • Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Work with POs and BA to create User Stories
  • Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Conduct code reviews to reinforce best practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration several factors when determining compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92,118 to $202,730. Please note that the salary range listed for our US postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include benefits or any potential variable bonus programs, subject to rules governing the programs, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
