We currently have a career opportunity for a Power Platform Senior Solutions Architect to join our team working remote.

Job Overview:

The Senior Solutions Architect is a senior leadership position with the skills and experience to lead our largest, most strategic engagements while also serving as a key participant in the business leadership of the business unit. This individual will have overall responsibility for the strategic leadership of client engagements from a delivery perspective. Additionally, the role will work closely with Business Developers, and be responsible for ongoing client development and relationship management activities.

This position can live anywhere nationally. Light travel (20% or less).

You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Senior Leadership team and may mentor junior architects and other delivery team members.

  • Detailed understanding of the Power Platform and cloud architecture.
  • Lead development teams in designing best-of-class strategies and solutions, and provide oversight of the implementation.
  • Actively manage the technical, business and personnel aspects of consulting engagements.
  • Serve as a key member of the solution delivery team by facilitating requirements/design sessions, and producing deliverables. Mentor and provide solutions delivery expertise to less experienced team members.
  • Serve as an expert on licensing; and create financial plans and ROI models that explain the cost implications of adopting the Power Platform.
  • Contribute to the creation of project plans and proposals, including estimated level of effort, resource requirements, schedule and budget.
  • Provide thought leadership to help grow the revenue around the Power Platform Practice.
  • Contribute to continuously improving the Power Platform practice through the creation of best practices, templates, and demos.
  • Actively participate in new business pursuits, working closely with the Business Applications management and Sales teams to develop proposals and deliver fantastic client presentations.
  • 10+ years of overall related experience with 5 plus years in Microsoft Business Applications Ecosystem.
  • 5+ years of consulting experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Power Platform.
  • Experience leading teams in Scrum, SAFe, waterfall, and hybrid environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, troubleshooting, fostering collaboration, and building client relationships.
  • Experience using Visual Studio, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other source control management tools.
  • Systems integration and ETL experience.
  • Serving as the senior delivery resource for consulting engagements; cultivating highly functioning teams comprised of Perficient and client resources.
  • Experience in sales support role, particularly discovery meetings, demos, roadmaps, and strategy. Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs and procurement deadlines.
  • Proven domain expertise with experience building business cases, communicating client-specific value propositions and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Leading technical discussions with business and technical decision makers, including detailing technical specifications, product roadmaps, deployment, and third-party integrations
  • Expertise with relational database concepts.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse and Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with RPA and creating generative AI solutions is a plus!
  • Active Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Understanding of C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and PowerShell.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $125,700 to $185,500. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
