We are looking for a strong Strategic Partnerships Manager who is motivated by the opportunity to drive transformational growth with an important payments partner, impacting key metrics such as loan volume, program profitability, and merchant acquisition for Affirm. The ideal candidate will be an experienced commercial expert who has built and grown partnerships, and worked cross-functionally with internal and external teams to deliver results, preferably in the payments industry. This role will report into the Director of Strategic Partner Management.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full partner lifecycle for one of Affirm’s largest strategic partners, including overall performance and profitability, strategic planning, and deal negotiation/expansion
  • Develop relationships with key partner stakeholders to facilitate advocacy of Affirms product within the partner’s organization
  • Identify and create new offerings to collaborate with the partner to drive industry leadership and new business opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop robust ‘go to market’ campaigns and strategies
  • Partner with Sales team on go to market strategy and enhance efforts to distribute Affirm via platform partner
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams in roadmap and product development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and drive requirements to develop and scale programs, operations, and business strategy

What We Look For

  • 5-7 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, Strategy Consulting, Corporate Development or related field
  • Knowledge of the payments and payment processor landscape
  • Clear communication, strategic and structured thinking, organization and project management skills
  • Strong collaborator who can build relationships across the organization (internally and externally)
  • Experience in negotiations, with an emphasis on driving partner value

Pay Grade - USA50

Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.

USA On Target Earnings (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:

Min: $225,300

Mid: $247,800

Max: $270,300

USA On Target Earnings (all other U.S. states) per year:

Min: $202,800

Mid: $223,050

Max: $243,300
