Providence - Ayin is calling a Student Intern, Financial Modeling who will:

  • Be provided an introduction and overview of the project and its objectives including defining the purpose of the cost model, rolling budget, and long-term forecasting and explaining the significance and potential benefits of implementing these models
  • Work with finance and leadership resources to understand the company's current cost structure and pricing strategy
  • Identify the fixed and variable cost drivers and factors that influence product pricing
  • Develop a comprehensive cost model that accurately reflects the relationship between costs and product pricing incorporating different cost elements, such as labor, overhead, and pass through expenses
  • In development of the cost model, take into consideration the impact of different factors, such as economies of scale, complexity, and level of customization
  • Build the model to include the ability to adapt to changes in the product offering and the business environment

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

  • This role is a full-time temporary non-benefitted role
  • This role is intended to be a summer position for a current college student or high school student that is college bound
  • The successful applicant for this position will be employed for a duration of time during the Summer of 2024
  • The program will last approximately 12 weeks and is anticipated to end around 8/30/2024, however, this may change based upon an actual start date for the role and department needs
  • Work Week: Monday - Friday
  • Work Schedule: 8am - 5pm

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Coursework/Training: Acceptance to, or current enrollment in, a four year college or university
  • Coursework/Training: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent
  • No actual work experience in Finance or Business is required
  • Previous employment should demonstrate progressively responsible duties

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
