We’re looking for a Technical Writer who will be responsible for our Support Center; the Technical Writer will create and maintain all product-related content for Studio, including (but not limited to) step-by-step guides, conceptual explanations, and product release notes. This role will report to the Director of Product Enablement and Education and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Education.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit and publish support center articles for Movable Ink’s Studio product
- Work closely with Product Management on new product feature releases and create release notes to coincide with launch
- Maintain the content architecture of the support center
- Routinely monitor existing articles for accuracy and clarity
- Analyze and report on article viewership and engagement metrics
- Adhere to Movable Ink documentation standards, practices, and procedures
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years experience creating documentation for a B2B SaaS company
- Strong drafting, copy editing, and proofreading expertise
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to translate complex technical concepts for both expert and non-expert audiences
- Able to manage projects and deadlines across a variety of teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in marketing technology or enterprise SaaS spaces
- Proficiency with Zendesk and Notion
- Able to develop informative material in a variety of formats, including graphics, animations, and videos
- Experience not only on the documentation side of a product, but also on interface copy
- Experience using analytics tools to measure content performance
The base pay range for this position is $70,000-$80,000/year. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
