ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a part-time temporary Benefits Specialist. This person will handle benefits administration for approximately 200 employees in the United States. The Specialist will play a key role in preparation for open enrollment and will help organize our plans, establish the proper plan set up with ADP, and manage enrollments. This role will also involve regular benefits compliance tasks such as ACA compliance and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer benefits questions from employees
  • Assist with benefits enrollments (new hires, QLEs, etc)
  • Oversee ADP Benefit Services to ensure proper enrollments, invoice reconciliations, and coordinate escalations with benefits broker
  • Handle any required benefits compliance
  • Oversee 401k plan administration with Fidelity
  • Play a key role in open enrollment planning and set up: work with our benefits brokers to review plan options, communications, put together financial proposals for leadership, and work with ADP Benefits Services to complete the benefits module setup.
  • Create benefits administration process documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ experience with benefits administration
  • Strong understanding of benefits laws and regulations
  • Experience managing open enrollment
  • Strong communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in ADP WFN and Google Suite applications

POSITION TYPE:
This is a part-time temporary position for 10-25 hours per week depending on workload. The role will last until around January 2025.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a remote position.

SALARY:

$40/hr-$65/hr
