We are seeking a high energy, motivated Territory Sales Manager – Southeast to promote innovative solutions with current and potential customers.
This position will be responsible for the design and execution of marketing and sales strategies, policies, and programs to achieve Riello sales goals within the Southeast USA market.
This role may be located anywhere in the Southeastern United States, working remotely. Preference will be given to candidates residing in close proximity to a major airport.
Key Responsibilities
You will be called upon to refine existing programs, while also developing and leading new programs based on customer needs and product offerings
You will collaborate closely with regional and global leadership focusing on developing our existing and future sales footprint
You will work to nurture relationships with existing key customers, distributors, representatives, and dealers and be responsible to help develop new ones
You will be responsible for leading Riello growth initiatives throughout the market
You will be responsible for assisting the sales channel partners (i.e. distributors, direct sales offices, rep firms) to increase Riello marker share in the US
Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate gaps
Establish action plans and sales targets for your territory and reviewing progress with country sales management on a regular basis
Collaborate across various business divisions to identify new business opportunities and upcoming projects with existing and new customers
Partner with marketing and other divisions to demonstrate product strengths vs competition and implement plans and communication to capitalize
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of outside Sales experience in the HVAC industry
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledgeable about HVAC commercial products – with focus on heating equipment
Thorough understanding of market dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors’ programs
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audience
Effective communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills and customer focus
Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Advanced skills with modern technology used for business management
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities
Ability to direct and lead effective and efficient performance of field sales operations
Entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy
Team player and must be able to sell on factors other than price
Take on new challenges daily, problem solving ability is key
Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
Experience with ERM systems (preferably SAP)
