Assurant has an exciting opportunity for a Trainer, Instructional Designer! We are a market leader in the Shared/Gig Economy, Leased and Financed Equipment and Classic Car space. The Customer & Employee Success Specialist is responsible for supporting the quality & performance results of our frontline team members to ensure positive customer experiences, engaged employees, and compliance with company policy and procedures. This is accomplished by identifying opportunities, providing individualized feedback, and delivering training support to drive performance improvement. This role will be remote.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Collaboration and Coaching – 75%
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (Operations, Client Services, Learning & Development, Workforce Management, etc) to align & execute both new hire & tenured resource support requirements
- Support training & development of new hires and promote a positive onboarding experience; Serves as a SME with new hires and nesting
- Conduct soft skills & Customer Experience refresher training (as needed)
- Act as a mentor to customer care specialists, team leads, and unit managers to support effective coaching & team member development
- Assist in the training of new systems and procedures, enhancements, etc.
Performance Analysis & Material Development – 25%
- Identify key areas of opportunity based on quality audits, calibration analysis, customer/client feedback, etc.
- Create or update “refresher” materials targeted to the specific areas of opportunity
- Develop training materials, FAQ, & associate quick reference guides to support implementation of new processes & tools
- Identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and success
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be PC literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- Experience in a coaching & development role
- Familiarity with developing and delivering presentations for/to various audiences
- Fundamental knowledge of company products and services
Pay Range:
$22.61 - $37.32Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
