Experience you bring:
A desire to build a healthy, empowered, and effective Design team.
Exceptional communication skills at every level and medium, influencing design leaders and inspiring team members with well-written messages, guides, processes, and presentation decks.
Strong business acumen. We’re looking for someone who understands the business and the role product design plays in our company's success.
Experience managing a team budget and procurement processes.
Job to be done:
Tasked with program or organization-level initiatives. You will work to optimize the design team’s overall approach by managing and improving UX processes, programs, and toolsets. As a program manager, you are responsible for identifying opportunities to drive team-wide excellence.
Day-to-day, a program manager would:
Tracking design-team progress against high-level business goals
Partner with leadership to in goal setting and team-wide OKRs
Prioritizing ideas and initiatives to support the design team
Encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration across the UX team
Monitoring overall team health and efficacy
Driving alignment and collaboration across design teams and cross-functional partners
Lead and execute specific initiatives related to the design team’s success and maturity
Focus areas include:
Culture and Community
Meetings and collaboration
Tracking budget, hiring, and onboarding
Designer experience
Learning and skills development
Tools and licensing
Anything else determined a valuable focus area
Compensation:
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
$127,100.00 - $249,400.00Benefits:
