Luminary Group is seeking a talented and results-driven Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry Account Manager to join our clients team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts in the field of liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS). Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with customers, providing technical expertise, and driving sales growth within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the LC/MS market, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert in LC/MS applications and solutions.
- Identify customer needs and provide customized solutions to meet their analytical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Develop and execute account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in LC/MS technology and applications.
- Participate in industry conferences, tradeshows, and other events to promote products and services.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Forecast and track sales metrics, provide regular reports to management, and contribute to sales forecasting activities.
- Effectively communicate customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the LC/MS or analytical instrumentation industry.
- Strong knowledge of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry principles, technologies, and applications.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required up to 70%.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
