We're on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join and strengthen our client's dynamic accounting team! In this role, you'll manage short-term rental receivable activities within NetSuite, leveraging automated systems to streamline data input, generate insightful reports, and conduct specialized research projects. Requirements

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor and manage outstanding receivables, collaborating closely with the operations department to facilitate timely collections.
  • Record and reconcile third-party payouts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial protocols.
  • Conduct regular weekly reviews and reconciliations of accounts receivable balances, swiftly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collections, providing insights for informed decision-making.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in implementing and enforcing accounts receivable policies and procedures, promoting efficiency and consistency across the organization.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in managing receivables effectively.
  • Full understanding of general ledger and sub-ledger, with a keen eye for detail in financial data management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling efficient multitasking and prioritization.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling effective problem-solving.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in navigating a dynamic and high-growth environment, thriving in challenging situations.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently, demonstrating proactive leadership in executing tasks.
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares and technologically adept to learning new systems if needed

Tools:

  • Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
  • Stripe
  • Experience with NetSuite is desirable, though not mandatory.
