Job Description

As our Part-time Bookkeeper, you’ll be at the financial helm of our multi-faceted organization, managing transactions and ensuring alignment across our various business units. You’ll leverage your QuickBooks expertise to handle both accounts receivable and payable, prepare crucial financial reports, and drive efficiency across our growing enterprise. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys the challenge of juggling multiple tasks across diverse business models. Responsibilities

  • Manage financial transactions using QuickBooks Online for multiple service-based businesses
  • Handle accounts receivable and payable processes efficiently
  • Prepare and deliver weekly financial reports, with potential to transition to bi-weekly or monthly reporting
  • Ensure financial alignment and consistency across various business units
  • Assist in identifying cost-cutting opportunities and improving financial efficiency
  • Adapt financial strategies to different business models within the parent company structure
  • Collaborate with leadership to provide insights for informed decision-making

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong multitasking abilities and comfort with switching between different business contexts
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills for effective reporting to upper management
  • Adaptability to evolving business needs and reporting structures
  • Experience working with service-based businesses preferred but not required
  • Ability to work remotely and maintain productivity in a virtual environment
