Salary/Position Classification
- $13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position
This position will assist Student Academic Success with the creative writing, images and video for social media, myUND app posts, among other digital projects, as well as assist with the promotion of departmental events and services. The Digital Media Specialist must be a creative individual who can help our department develop ideas to drive students to our social media sites, events, and services. This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and use social media as a platform to deliver appropriate content and messaging
- Create and maintain a social media calendar for each semester
- Generate monthly analytic reports
- Collaborate with other Digital Media Specialists in the SASCE unit as well as Student Academic Success staff members with regards to all digital media content
- Attend weekly supervision meetings
- Other Essential duties as needed - (Essential)

- Knowledge of / interest in learning about digital media, social media, creative writing, and marketing strategy

Minimum Requirements
- Available to work at least 10 hours per week
- Prior experience managing social media accounts, specifically Instagram & Facebook
- Ability to work both on-campus and remotely
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Adobe Express, Capcut, Excel, Microsoft TEAMS
- Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, or Art major
