Director, Global Talent & Organisation Effectiveness

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organisation’s corporate design aligns with its strategic objectives, enhances operational efficiency, fosters innovation, and promotes employee engagement and inclusivity.

We are looking for a seasoned HRBP with a deep understanding of OD principles or an OD specialist with a successful track record of leading large-scale interventions across the organisation.

Your day to day

  • Organisational design - Lead the development and implementation of corporate organisational design strategies to align with IHG's business objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership and HRBPs to ensure that organisational structures support effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Inclusivity - Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention across the corporate organisation, in alignment with IHG's EVP. Promote a culture of inclusivity, recognise, and reward employee contributions and own the corporate listening strategy to measure employee engagement levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performance management - Design and implement performance management processes and systems that promote accountability, goal alignment, and individual development.
  • Onboarding - Develop comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires across all levels of the organisation, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into IHG's culture and processes.

  • Proven experience in organisational design, change management.
  • Strong understanding of organisational development principles, performance management methodologies, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with a track record of building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive projects to successful completion.
