Position Overview:

As a Director of UX at Infinite Reality, you will spearhead the development of a revolutionary low/no code digital space creation platform. Your role involves leading the platform design team to conceptualize and implement intuitive interfaces for developers and end users, ensuring seamless user interactions and efficient creation workflows. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital spaces and democratize the metaverse, making immersive content creation accessible to users of all backgrounds and expertise levels.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Drive the design vision and strategy for the overall metaverse platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for developers and consumers. Guide user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
• User Research and Testing: Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors. Utilize findings to inform design decisions and validate design solutions through usability testing.
• Prototyping and Iteration: Oversee the creation of interactive prototypes and iterate on feedback-based designs. Drive continuous improvement in the user interface and interaction design.
• Design System Implementation: Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system that promotes consistency and scalability across the metaverse platform.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate user experience goals into the development process. Ensure alignment between design and technical implementation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of UX design experience focusing on designing complex digital platforms or virtual environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a high-performing UX design team.
• Ability to think strategically about user experience and product design, considering long-term goals and industry trends.
• Familiarity with the technical aspects of virtual reality, augmented reality, or similar immersive technologies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts, rationale, and findings to cross-functional teams.
