- Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
- Be both a highly technical, and an effective people manager.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and 24 months of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires 24 months of experience in the following:
- 1. Software engineering work experience including hands-on technical management building infrastructure core components
- 2. Coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, Javascript, Python, or PHP
- 3. Architecting, developing, and shipping software products and/or services
- 4. Building products including front end technologies or backend systems
- 5. Unix or Linux
- 6. Scaling high performance, high throughput systems
- 7. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in large-scale systems
- 8. Coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams
- 9. Developing and managing requirements, and making data-driven decisions.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
