  • Develop software interfaces for a variety of off-the-shelf and custom sensors.
  • Develop and maintain various features including first time user experience, membership and subscription management, personalization, social sharing and more.
  • Conduct technical design and code reviews.
  • Produce clean, efficient code following engineering standards and best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of real-time perception systems to accelerate development of reusable software for perception components.
  • Develop positive working relationships with researchers, product managers, program managers, QA, marketing, and other roles.
  • Build software, tools, infrastructure, documentation, and other systems.
  • Coordinate with a large set of internal infrastructure and tool teams across the lab and across Meta to evaluate and integrate with existing systems.
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Software, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field, and four years of work experience in a job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • Requires four years of experience in the following:
  • 1.Unity and C#
  • 2.Creating, extending, integrating and maintaining 3D engine systems such as graphics rendering, audio, physics, networking, or animation
  • 3.Software development practices including source control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging and profiling
  • 4.Unity, Unreal, or other robust game engine
  • 5.Working on live applications at scale, including high frequency shipping cycles
  • 6.Working on client platforms such as game consoles, mobile devices, or VR headsets
  • 7.Developing iOS or Android applications
  • 8.Developing client applications using reactive programming frameworks.
