About the Role

This Enterprise Account Executive role will report to the VP of Sales. The goal of this role is to drive Pinecone usage within the assigned account base. You will achieve this by the following tasks:

  • Managing inbound leads through the PLG and MQL channels

  • Lead all sales related activities through the various stages of the buying journey; in accordance to Pinecone’s defined sales process

  • Selling and winning against our competitors

  • Ensuring the customer is deployed successful and positioned for expansion

This right candidate will have a high degree of technical knowledge (relative to a sales professional) and will partner closely with the SE, CS, Product and Marketing teams. This individual should be a top producer with experience at a fast growing infrastructure software company.

Requirements:

  • Mustcome from the infrastructure / data softwarespace.

  • Must have a minimum 5-7 years experience as an Account Executive.

  • Previous experience with Enterprise Accounts, closing net new logos

  • Aconsistent track record of performance above quota / top of peer group
