Salary/Position Classification
- $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 15-20 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Computer aided drafting focused on process piping, electrical, control systems and related mechanical and building drawings
- Working with environmental and alternative energy researchers, engineers, laboratory, process, and facility technicians
- Identifying and labeling piping, ventilation, and electrical systems (may include some painting to identify pipes)
- Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- AutoCAD or similar drawing software experience with capability of learning AutoCad by utilizing understanding of other drafting software as a basis
- Able to stand 3-4 hours at a time
- Can move 45-50 pounds
- The ability to understand and complete required training for the job classification
- Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong AutoCAD or similar design/drafting software experience, and Excel and Word.
- Able to understand pipe sizes and piping components such as valves and regulators.
