Working hours: Weekend availability of Saturday and Sunday 9 AM - 5 PM EST, and Monday -Wednesday 9 AM -6 PM EST.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound patient communication, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all. This role involves handling patient scheduling, follow-ups, and insurance verification. Additionally, you will enhance customer service by checking in on patients after dental procedures and manage social media marketing on weekends. Your performance will be measured by patient engagement, account receivables, and social media outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound/Outbound Patient Communication

  • Handle incoming patient phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently, especially on weekends.
  • Follow up with patients from recall lists to reactivate them and schedule appointments.
  • Confirm upcoming patient appointments that have not yet been confirmed.
  • Verify patient insurance details.
  • Reach out to patients who have had dental work to ensure they are recovering well and enhance the perception of our customer service.
  • Call in prescriptions for patients as necessary.

Insurance Account Receivables

  • Follow up on insurance account receivables (AR).
  • Document all phone calls and interactions with insurance providers.
  • Performance will be evaluated based on the reduction of AR account amounts.

Social Media and Marketing

  • Create and post engaging content on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Google Blogs) on weekends.
  • Ensure at least two posts are published per week, contributing to SEO rankings and patient engagement.
  • Track and report performance metrics, such as SEO search rankings and engagement levels.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in patient care coordination, medical or dental administration.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes and AR management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor in patient interactions.
  • Experience with social media marketing, particularly in creating engaging content.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on weekends with minimal supervision.
