In this role you will be a key leader in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Natcast's financial reporting as well as managing compliance with GAAP, 2CFR 200 and other accounting standards and regulations.
You will collaborate with teams across the organization to provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making and drive the company's mission forward.

The General Ledger Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of Natcast as it works to advance semiconductor technology and production in the USA. In this position, you will oversee accounting functions, develop policies and procedures, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with teams across the organization. Your expertise and leadership will directly contribute to Natcast's ability to deliver on its important mission.
Responsibilities
Manage the accounting team including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, non-profit accounting, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements including Form 990, payroll filings, and sales tax filings
Coordinate and oversee annual audits and prepare necessary schedules and disclosures
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to senior management and external stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance
Support the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Create variance analysis reports including providing concise explanations
Review and balance accounts, analyze variances, prepare reports, and monitor assets using financial software
Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations
Assist with ERP and system implementations and serve as a super-user
Collaborate with external vendors and assist with regulatory reporting
Communicate material business impacts to key stakeholders
Assess current accounting operations and implement process improvements
Required Skills and Experience
B.S. in Accounting or Equivalent
5 or more years of high-level accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, 2CFR 200 and financial reporting regulations for non-profits
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software implementations, systems, and best practices
Advanced skills using Excel to review and analyze project financial data
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment that may require extended hours on a periodic basis
