Position: Graphic Designer

Working Hours: Available for a standard 8-5P Eastern time zone, Monday-Friday excluding holidays

Mission:

As a Designer at Signature Athletics, you will be responsible for setting up 1-3 uniform package designs (3-5 products each) for dye sub-cut and sew manufacturing, handling 1-3 logo conversions for embroidery, 1-3 logo conversions for DTG printing, including mock-ups and revisions as requested by clients and our sales team each day. Signature Athletics is growing rapidly. It's a fast-paced exciting environment with a revolutionary process for sports-team uniform and apparel at the youth, travel, club, and recreational level. Core Responsibilities:

  1. Elevate the Culture:
    1. Schedule a 15-minute meeting with 1 person in the company every week to get to know everyone on the team!
    2. Find opportunities to elevate our self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
  2. Product Design:
    1. Create designs that players in the market who aren't even on the team want.
    2. Manage logo design requests on behalf of our clients, including the preparation of logos for each specific vendor.
    3. Use design to feature bundles and products in a way that increases conversion rates and AOV.
    4. Manage GoVisually, our Art Approval software, and ensure that clients approve their artwork in 1 business day.
  3. Client Facing Designs:
    1. Management & Reviewing Design Tickets
    2. Product(s) Initial Mock Ups & Revision
    3. Logo Mock-Ups & Revision
    4. Team Store Banner
    5. 3D eCom Rendering
    6. Initial Grading Artwork
    7. Off-Menu Initial Mock-Up & Revision
    8. Brand Guides Initial Mock-Up & Revision
    9. Logo Convert & Save
    10. Quality Check Graded Artwork

Requirements

Job Specific Skills

  1. 5+ years experience in dye sublimation design, proficiency with required software like Ziflow, HubSpot, Google Drive, Slack, and Adobe Illustrator
  2. Expert Level Tactician: Experienced as an expert-level tactician in Client-Facing and Production Design as well as Quality Checks on other designers' work to ensure quality prints on the final apparel items.
  3. Demonstrated History: Has proven experience, best practices, and documented processes for the major functional responsibilities.
    1. Design: Examples of creating Designs that drive demand
    2. Time Management: Examples of managing high ticket volume environments
    3. Ideal Team Player: Examples of being a culture fit with the organization
  4. Highly Tech Enabled & Remote Experience: Works well with and is excited by the impact of technology on the business.
    1. Enjoys being in a remote environment and demonstrates self-accountability in that environment
    2. History of identifying areas ripe for automation or simplification and being a partner to the manager to bring issues up, discuss, and solve them!

Qualifications Required:

    1. Stable high-speed internet with backup
    2. Computer (laptop or desktop) with recommended quad-core CPU 2.5hgz+, RAM 8GB+, and dual monitor
    3. Headset, mic, and webcam for meetings
    4. Focused workspace
  2. Fluent in conversational English written and verbal
  3. Ideally, at least 1 year of wor-from-home experience

Benefits

  1. Salary depends on experience
  2. 13th Month Annual Bonus (contingent on you being with the company for +6 months and continuing employment through December 15th)
