Incident Responder I

Location: Hybrid in Exton, PA or home-based (Eastern Time or Central Time preferred)

Position Summary:

A Level I Incident Responder investigates, analyzes, and responds to security related events within the monitored environment in consultation with management and team members.

Your-Day-to-Day:

  • Respond to Alerts from SIEM and SOAR Platforms.
  • Escalate incidents to appropriate team members.
  • Work with transitioning security incidents across multi-shift teams.
  • Performing maintenance tasks across various security tools.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 0-2 years of education or training in security-related fields or equivalent work experience in IT fields such as Desktop Support, Network Operations, or Systems Administration.
  • Basic working knowledge of operating systems, authentication protocols, network protocols and topologies, emails system, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Basic understanding of cyberattacks and threats based on the MITRE framework.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, hybrid or home-based in the US.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
  • No travel is required for this role.
