Key Details:

• Hybrid Program: This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Relocation Support: Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer.
• Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program.
• Technical Requirements: Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely.

Department Summary:

The Strategic Sourcing F&B team is responsible for managing the dynamic process that helps the company leverage and maximize the value of our purchasing decisions with strategy. Analyzes and leverages spend, optimizes the supplier base, sustains cost savings programs, conducts and/or guides the negotiation process, and executes the contracting administration processes including the authoring and gathering of required approvals and signatures.

Internship Project Summary:

The intern will assist with the planning and coordinating of F&B category RFPs.

Essential Functions:

• Build project plan and scope
• Collecting spend data by brand
• Supporting RFP process
• Reviewing and analyzing supplier bid responses

Specific Qualifications:

Skills:

• Ability to perform analysis and interpret results into actional steps
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills

Preferred Experience:

• Supply Chain (Sourcing, Procurement, etc.)
• Cruise and/or Hospitality
• Food and Beverage
