This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Total hours: 20 hours per week or 4 hours per day
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Greenville time

Job Overview:
We’re looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to assist with migrating data to Microsoft 365 and provide end-user training and support on key applications like Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. You’ll also offer first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, troubleshoot devices, manage user accounts, and help with basic IT security tasks. Responsibilities:
Migration Support:
  • Assist with migrating data (emails, files, etc.) to Microsoft 365.
  • Provide end-user training and support on Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365-related issues and escalate complex problems when needed

System Support:
  • Offer first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions.
  • Assist with network maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Document support activities in a ticketing system.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and software.
  • Perform basic IT security tasks, such as password resets and virus scans.


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Previous experience providing technical support in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices, including password management and virus protection.
  • Experience with system maintenance, including installing, configuring, and updating software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with end users.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and inventory management.
