What you will do - Manager, Field Team Science

  • As a key member of the global Scientific and Laboratory Services (SLS) organization, you will innovate and solve customer problems utilizing Cytiva technologies, primarily via email and phone. You will manage and log these interactions in a fast-paced environment using Salesforce dot com (SFDC) to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.

  • Collaborate with your team to set, track and achieve performance objectives. You will utilize SFDC dashboards and other platforms to monitor progress, identify gaps, and implement strategies for success.

  • Coach and mentor team members, to help them build professional networks and identify fulfilling projects that advance their careers.

  • Play a key role in advancing Knowledge Management, focusing on developing a SharePoint-based FAQ database and integrating AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology.

  • Establish and maintain technical expertise in the Biotechnology industry through close contact with customers, including potential travel for technical consultations, training, product demonstrations, and field trials.

  • Provide valuable feedback by maintaining regular communication with other Cytiva functions such as Marketing, Applications R&D, and other customer-facing Scientific Support teams.

  • Attend essential training courses and actively assist in training, mentoring, and coaching team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Who you are:

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Chemical, or Biological Engineering is preferred.

  • Has minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the Biotechnology industry in Process Development, Quality, or MSAT.

  • Has experience in a supervisory or team-leading role.

  • Ready to travel up to 10% of the time, holding a current full driving license and passport.

  • Awareness and understanding of regulatory trends, issues, and guidelines within the scope of pharmaceutical GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) operations.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Experience in championing continuous improvement within a customer-facing environment.

  • Familiarity with Cytiva filtration products.

  • Knowledge of unit operations and practices relevant to pharmaceutical GMP facilities and processes.

The salary range for this role is $90K-$125K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
