How you will make an impact:
Iterable is looking for a manager to lead and grow our IT Engineering team, supporting network infrastructure, endpoint management, business applications automation/integration, identity and access management, operational tooling and more. This is primarily a people management role, but the right candidate will be comfortable advising, training, and acting as a player/coach where needed.
Reporting to the Director of IT, you will work with IT & Security leadership to ensure our services and applications are secure, scalable, and resilient, and meet regularly with our cross-functional partners to ensure that their initiatives, projects, and roadmaps are accounted for in our planning.

In this role you’ll get to:
- Manage and guide our IT Engineering team, including hiring, training, mentorship, career development, and performance management
- Develop a close working relationship with the manager of the IT Operations team to ensure timely, efficient handoffs and escalations between the two teams, jointly developing processes and practices
- Expand and improve our work management practices: evolve how we scope, prioritize and deliver; encourage an ownership mindset, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish and grow relationships with our partners in HR, Engineering, Security Engineering, GRC, Workplace, and beyond to understand and prioritize their needs
- Work with our compliance and auditing teams to ensure consistent reporting and resolution of compliance issues
- Partner closely with Security Engineering to develop the IT Engineering team’s enterprise security capabilities
- Support Iterable’s global expansion as we build offices internationally
We are looking for people who have:
- A strong background in technology organizations (e.g. IT, software engineering, developer services) with either:
- Management or leadership experience with strong work management fundamentals: Ticketing systems, backlog grooming, prioritization, stakeholder management. This can include team lead, scrum master, technical project manager, or people management roles
- A record of progressive responsibility involving hands-on experience as an individual contributor (e.g. networking or systems administration, endpoint configuration/management, business applications development, or engineering tools/services) with examples of project or team leadership
- A proven track record of building systems and processes, iteratively developing programs from crawl to walk to run maturity
- A proven track record of cross-functional partnerships and collaboration
Bonus points:
- Experience in the enterprise security domain (e.g. endpoint security, identity management, incident response)
- Experience managing macOS and Windows devices with MDM tools (e.g. Jamf, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps tooling in an IT engineering environment (e.g. continuous integration, version control, infrastructure as code)
- Familiarity with public cloud environments
- Participation and familiarity with compliance audits (e.g. SOC2, SOX, or ISO27001)

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $129,500 - $200,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
