About the role

Pear VC is seeking a part-time Office Manager to support the daily operations of our San Francisco office. You will play a vital role in ensuring a productive and welcoming environment for our team and guests.

What You'll Do:

Receptionist & Guest Experience

  • Manage guest arrivals, entry system and check-in process with a positive, professional demeanor

  • Onboard new studio members including processing badges, coordinating building access, conducting orientations

  • Maintain data and documentation for all members

Office Administration

  • Oversee kitchen operations including organizing, cleaning and stocking supplies

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sanitizing conference rooms, resetting event spaces

  • Order and maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies

  • Coordinate with building management and janitorial vendors

  • Distribute communications and notifications to tenants

Event Support

  • Assist with setup and teardown for company events

  • Manage guest registration and check-in process for events

General Responsibilities

  • Proactively troubleshoot operational issues and interface with vendors as needed

  • Embrace a "no task too small" approach to supporting the office

  • Other duties as assigned to ensure seamless office operations

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Professional demeanor for interacting with guests and colleagues

  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Comfortable using technology tools like G Suite, Office 365, etc.
