Job Title: Operations Manager
Working Schedule: Overlapping US hours
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

About the Role:
In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. You'll ensure smooth workflow, optimize processes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You'll also lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage operational processes and procedures.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost-savings.
  • Implement and maintain quality control standards.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure efficient supply chain operations (if applicable).
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Schedule and delegate tasks to optimize team productivity.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of operational staff.
  • Motivate and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Report on operational performance to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles (a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project management and budget control.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and project management software (a plus)
