We provide unique and specialized training and education services, including curriculum development, classroom instruction, and exercise support services to the Department of Defense through direct contracting and subcontracting opportunities. GCC emphasizes employing professionals with the appropriate military background and credentials. The professional staff at GCC consists almost entirely of former military trainers and advisors who are retired or currently serving in the reserves. Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will work 15-20 hours weekly, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and receive work direction derivatives from the Business Operations and Quality Management Teams. The Administrative Assistant will hold a critical headquarters position in support of the Green Cell Consulting (GCC) team. GCC’s headquarters team supports employees across ten states and is dedicated to preparing military clients to thrive in complex operating environments. The ideal candidate for the Administrative Assistant position is a highly motivated individual with the goal of exercising and developing their administrative support skills. The Administrative Assistant will perform the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize Travel Records, Contract Records, and Personnel Records as directed by Business Operations staff
  • Review, edit, and publish documents to the Company’s Intranet
  • Research information upon request
  • Participate in business meetings to support the management team
  • Assists in special projects as directed
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree or 2 years of office management experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

  • Eighteen (18) months of office experience preferred
  • Experience with military personnel is preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Expert proficiency in computer applications such as Google Workspace and Adobe
  • Proficient in computer applications and Project Management Tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties operating under deadline constraints

Additional Information

  • Required to sit for extended periods and maintain focus.
  • The start date is 22 July 2024
