Role: Payroll Accounting Manager

Location: Wrocław (hybrid) or Poland (remote)

We are looking for Payroll Accounting Manager, who will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a team of individual contributors (ca. 20) that support moderately complex global financial processes.

  • Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development;

  • Leading a moderately complex transactional accounting process supporting the company's global finance function.

  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of accounting support.

  • Proactively identifying opportunities for development of systems and tools and engaging in the design.

  • Supporting short- and long-term planning for the global financial process.

  • Supporting Merger & Acquisition activities relevant for Payroll Accounting area.

  • Engaging with external auditors to facilitate financial audits.

  • Liaising with Payroll, Finance, IT Teams or local payroll providers representing Payroll Accounting on cross-functional teams.

  • Providing analytics to business initiatives, representing a sub-function within finance for particular business.

  • Supporting team in overcoming issues encountered in Payroll Accounting area.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economy, finance, management or adequate experience in area of payroll accounting/finance.

  • Typically > 6 years of experience in area of payroll accounting/finance

  • Experience in people management .

  • Fluency in English.

  • Any additional language would be an asset.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Good supervisory skills.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Good business acumen.

  • Good understanding of the company's policies and practices.
