Job Summary:
The PeopleSoft Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications and systems to support the business operations of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, tools, and technologies to effectively troubleshoot issues, enhance system functionality, and ensure optimal performance. Fully remote and requires a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Application Development:
  • Design, develop, and customize PeopleSoft applications based on business requirements.
  • Utilize PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and other PeopleSoft development tools.
  • Create and maintain SQR reports, XML Publisher reports, and Component Interfaces.
  • System Maintenance and Support:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and fixes to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Integration and Data Management:
  • Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and other systems using Integration Broker, Web Services, and other integration tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across PeopleSoft applications.
  • Design and implement data conversion and migration strategies.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing for PeopleSoft applications.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and process flows.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on PeopleSoft functionalities and best practices.
  • Stay current with PeopleSoft updates, tools, and technologies to enhance system capabilities.
  • Project Management:
  • Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, and scope definition for PeopleSoft-related projects.
  • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to the management team.
