Role: Performance Marketing Manager

Work schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Eastern Time
Salary Range: up to 2,000 USD per month

About the Role:

As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing all paid media channels (primarily Google and Meta), overseeing ad performance, tracking KPIs for media and agencies, and working closely with our internal design and email teams. You will be expected to create strategic design briefs, set up tests for media performance, and ensure ad campaigns are optimized for maximum return. You’ll play a key role in scaling our business while supporting creative and data-driven marketing initiatives.

We are a fast-paced, data-driven e-commerce business in the D2C discount fragrance industry. Our team is fully remote, and we are focused on scaling through optimized performance marketing and creative ad strategies. We’re looking for a skilled Performance Marketing Manager to help us grow by optimizing paid media strategies and achieving a higher ROAS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns on Google Shopping Ads, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Track KPIs for both internal performance marketing efforts and external agency performance.
  • Develop and implement tests to optimize ads and scale revenue.
  • Create detailed design briefs to guide our designer in developing media assets for growth.
  • Work closely with the email marketer, providing support on paid media initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the SEO and CRO agencies, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Ensure ROAS and scaling goals are met by optimizing ad strategies and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Report directly to the CMO and work closely to develop long-term paid media strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing paid media, with extensive experience in D2C e-commerce growth.
  • Expert knowledge in Google Ads, Google Shopping Ads, Google Analytics, and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Strong proficiency with Shopify.
  • Working knowledge of Klaviyo, Google Tags, Google Search Console (GSC), and SEMrush.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, influencer marketing, and CRO principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize for ROAS while identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with remote teams.
