Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner I to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
Locations: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.
Takes the lead in several areas of product development by following the principles of Agile to manage the team backlog, anticipate and prioritize needs, oversee development stages, act as a primary liaison and evaluate product progress. Serves as the customer proxy; works collaboratively with business owners and other stakeholders to accomplish these tasks. Utilizes basic understanding of the business vision and requires frequent support and direction from the Product Manager and/or Product Owner II or III.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Utilize AGILE methodology and display proficiency in breaking down process steps, often referred to as the "voice of customer".
- Possess knowledge of Power BI, Pega, and databases, although experience in these areas is preferable but not mandatory.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but candidates with expertise in e-commerce and financial services are also welcomed, as they will be required to familiarize themselves with the insurance business.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience and a maximum of 10 years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Methodology
Utilizes theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodology to develop and implement solutions that reduce turn-around time, eliminate process defects/waste, improve customer satisfaction, and achieve sustainable improvements and efficiency.
Strategic Planning
Facilitates and manages the development of strategic goals, success measures, tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and budgets as part of the planning process for a project, portfolio, or program. Effectively monitors and manages scope changes to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while aligning with Portfolio Strategic theme(s), objective(s), and key result(s).
Stakeholder Analysis & Alignment
Utilizes a variety of tools and techniques to identify stakeholders, understand their concerns, and assess the impact of projects. Develops plans and uses collected data to communicate with stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and transparent portfolio health.
Prioritization
Effectively prioritizes work items to meet business needs and proactively facilitates tradeoff communications based on priority and capacity limitations. Adapts to changes that affect project goals and activities and enables the engaged team to adjust to new circumstances.
Change Management
Effectively applies change management tools to support the people side of change, ensuring organizational projects, programs, epics, features, and stories align with business outcomes and objectives.
