Ardent is seeking a Public Relations and Branding Specialist to join our team.

This is a Remote role but may require on-site meetings at the company headquarters in the Washington, DC metro area.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Public Relations and Branding Specialist to manage and execute all aspects of the company’s marketing needs. This position is pivotal in expanding our brand's footprint and ensuring our messaging and strategy is consistent across all platforms. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in PR, marketing, and branding, speficially within the federal contracting space with some commercial experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently to drive initiatives that enhance our company's market presence and reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies that align with our company’s goals and enhance our visibility within the federal contracting sector as well as commercial sectors.
  • Craft clear and compelling brand messages and ensure they are communicated consistently across all channels including digital media, press releases, marketing materials, campaigns, and internal communications.
  • Manage and oversee the creation of marketing and promotional materials, from concept through to execution, ensuring they meet high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Manage all social media channels including those of executive leadership.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and media coverage, leveraging insights to position our company as a leader in the federal contracting and commercial technology field.
  • Coordinate with business development teams to create marketing campaigns that support the proposal process and help secure government contracts.
  • Handle all aspects of media relations, including pitching stories, managing press contacts, and preparing executives for interviews.
  • Organize and manage high-profile corporate events, including webinars, conferences, and workshops, to enhance brand visibility and industry engagement.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of PR and marketing strategies, making data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Act as a brand guardian, maintaining brand voice across print and digital platforms.
  • Lead communications efforts, preparing strategies and responses to protect and uphold the company's brand as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, marketing, or branding, with a proven track record in the federal government contracting industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision.
  • Deep understanding of the federal contracting industry and branding for digital relationship building.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and email marketing software. To include leveraging artificial intelligence tools.
  • Experience building digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including executive leadership.
