We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Specialist to work collaboratively with our leadership team and hiring managers as well as the existing Recruitment team to support the delivery of our recruitment service across the organisation.

The Opportunity:

The Recruitment Specialist will work collaboratively with the leadership team and hiring managers to focus on recruitment solutions and building talent acquisition strategies, processes and capabilities for the business. The position will be focused on recruitment solutions and building talent acquisition strategies, processes and capabilities across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to provide end to end recruitment of organisational roles.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including advertising and attracting suitable candidates through multiple forums.
  • Identify future hiring needs and develop strategies/solutions.
  • Remain up-to –date on the requirements of the various positions in the organisation and relevant legislation.
  • Answer enquiries from potential candidates and the general public about working for Respect, the current job vacancies, and/or the status of an application.
  • Assist with the on-boarding of candidates including confirmation of classification and relevant entitlements in accordance with Respect's Industrial Instruments.
  • Assist the leadership team and hiring managers with candidate screening, assessment interpretation and interviews, as required.
  • Assist the leadership team and hiring managers undertake reference and background checking on potentially successful candidates, as required.
  • Interpret customer needs while demonstrating sensitivity and understanding of the diversity of Respect business units.
  • In conjunction with the Chief People Officer, contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment related policies, procedures and systems within the organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chief People Officer on a range of People and Culture projects and related activities.
  • Work with and support the Chief People Officer and the leadership team to achieve both strategic and operational objectives.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or previous experience in a similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a recruitment role - either external agency or internal.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).

Desirable:

  • Experience with recruitment in residential aged care or home care.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
