Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments
– Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
– Manage chronic health conditions
– Prescribe medications and treatments
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests
– Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications and disease prevention
– Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
– Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
– Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
– Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification
– State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting
Skills:
– Proficiency in IV infusion procedures
– Knowledge of ICD-10 coding
– Experience in behavioral health assessments and interventions
– Familiarity with Botulinum toxin treatment for cosmetic and medical purposes
– Understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures
– Ability to perform basic laboratory tests and interpret results
– Knowledge of psychopharmacology for mental health treatment
– Experience working in hospital or clinical settings
– Exposure to ophthalmology care practices
– Skill in triaging patients based on acuity levels
