Remote Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate – Must have active ILLINOIS license

Optimum Health is a mobile medical clinic currently composed of 5 Physicians, 5 Advanced Practice Providers, 1 Pharmacist, and 4 Medical Assistants. We are growing rapidly and are looking to hire a Mental Health Physician Assistant who lives, or would like to live, in eastern Idaho.

 

You would work under direct supervision of our in-house psychiatrist and would treat patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Most of your visits would be performed in-person, but some would/could be done virtually as a telehealth visit.

 

As an Optimum Health Mental Health Physician Assistant, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Evaluating and treating patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities with mental and behavioral health conditions
• Performing mental health consultations for our other Optimum Health providers
• Serving as primary psychiatric provider for patients with chronic psychiatric conditions
• Work with and under supervision of our Optimum Health Psychiatrist

 

As an Optimum Health Mental Health Physician Assistant, you would have the following flexibility:

• You would set your own schedule
• Our Medical Assistants create your personalized schedule of encounters
• Our Medical Assistants create and prep your charts for all your encounters eliminating any transcription level tasks
• No holidays, nights or weekends required
