Position Summary: 3 Month Contract To Hire

Job Description:

The Revenue Cycle Auditor is responsible for profiling, researching, and resolving reimbursement issues for assigned payors, products, or lines of business. The Revenue Cycle Auditor reports directly to the Audit Manager in Revenue Cycle Management. This position performs analysis and quality assurance reviews, identifies imbursement trends and issues, and presents areas of opportunity. They will also derive logical conclusions and forecasts from implementing strategies that can improve business performance, and share them with leaders. Hourly rate $31-35.

Responsibilities include:

Auditing / Quality Assurance:
 Perform audits on accounts to ensure claims are processed per best practice.
 Assist with tracking QA results and quality SLA reporting.
 Assist with developing and maintaining a robust quality assurance process.
 Provide detailed audit results to operational leaders to help drive accountability and

identify areas for remedial education.

Accounts Receivable Management:
 Review complex accounts to investigate and determine root cause of AR issues
 Assist with the development and implementation of best practice workflows and
processes to ensure timely collections and effective denial management.
 Work with Billing Strategy Directors and Product Managers to formulate a plan to
improve revenue per case by owning projects related to billing, denial management,

patient billing, pre authorization etc.

Process Improvement:
 Continuously identify opportunities across AR processes and procedures to increase

efficiency and accuracy.

 Work cross-functionally within operations to help optimize billing processes and
mitigate denials.
 Suggest and implement improvements to reduce AR utilizing industry best practices.

Reporting and Analysis:
 Analyze AR data to identify trends, potential issues, root cause, and opportunities for

process improvement.

 Assist with creating detailed monthly SLA and KPI reporting to track department

progress.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree healthcare related field of study or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and Insurance collections, dispute

resolution.

Salesforce, EPIC (or other EHR/EMR system experience)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle or claim analysis.

Experience with lab billing preferred.

Project management experience preferred.

Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS. ICD-10, modifier selection, and UB revenue codes.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.Remote USA$31—$35 USD
