A Day in the Life

This is an exciting opportunity where as a Sales Representative role with in Diabetes business, you will be driving the sales of the products portfolio in the defined geography. As most of the technologies are at an early stage of market development, a key part of this role will be to accelerate the adoption of these innovative diagnostic and therapeutic solutions. Become a part of a motivated and dynamic team and work with the latest innovative technologies such as MiniMed™ 780G system.

For this role, you will be expected to be located in İzmir, Türkiye; a part of TURMECA Region (Türkiye, Russia, Middle East and Central Asia).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • You will promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • You will be responsible for developing, building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • You will promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.
  • You will conduct market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • You will implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • You will communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including functions and enables like; customer service, marketing, training & education etc.
  • You will prepare all the required background for end-to-end sales process also being exclusively involved in pre-sales processes with the related third parties.
  • You will develop and maintain contact with the KOLs and other health care professionals and ensure the definition and prioritization of customer requirements through participation in physician organizations, conventions, training & education activities and other customer contacts to better understand the market and respond to market needs.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science/Engineering or related field.
  • Maximum of 5 years of sales experience in healthcare/device sales in Diabetes area.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English.
  • Medical device sales certificate,
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Please note that you might be asked to provide your Medical Device Sales certificate and Clinical Support Personnel Certificate in the following stages of interviews.
