We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Business Development Representative to join our client's team. The Senior BDR will play a key role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospects, and expanding our market reach. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in business development.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Identify and prioritize new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base and market presence.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, and industry partnerships. Utilize your network and market knowledge to uncover new prospects and opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers within target accounts. Understand their business needs, challenges, and goals to position our products or services effectively.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals. Provide insights and feedback to improve the sales process and enhance our value proposition.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to deal closure. Track and prioritize opportunities using CRM software, and provide regular updates on pipeline status and forecast.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with prospects to create mutually beneficial agreements. Use your expertise in sales strategy and persuasion to overcome objections and close deals.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this information to identify opportunities for growth and adjust our sales approach accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven track record in business development or sales, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to quickly understand customer needs and tailor the sales approach accordingly.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Solid experience in cold calling and outbound sales.
