What’s in Store

We're on the lookout for a Senior Claim Adjuster to join our growing team! As a Senior Claims Adjuster, you will:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 150 claim files, with multiple claimants, pertaining to municipal operations liability.
  • Perpetual evaluation of reserves for property damage and/or bodily injury claims with exposures of $25,000 or greater (subject to change)
  • Investigating claims, issuing timely reports, completing thorough diary reviews, managing litigation, and demonstrating excellent organizational skills

This role is a full-time, home-based position. However, the candidate should reside in Tennessee as travel may be required, quarterly or bi-annually.

Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities

  • College degree and insurance certifications are preferred
  • Adjuster licenses held in CA and NY strongly preferred
  • Ten (10) years liability experience, preferably in bodily injury, premises liability, auto and property
  • Expert experience and knowledge in Liability Insurance Policies, Self-insured retention (SIR), Excess policies, Tiered Deductibles
  • Proper reserving, excess carrier reporting and notice, reservation of rights letters
  • Tennessee laws, regulations, and statues
  • Client and account management
  • Client and claims reporting
  • Third-party administrator (TPA) experience strongly desired
  • Experience handling claims for municipalities strongly desired
  • Proficient knowledge of claims operations platforms, Microsoft Office
  • Desired professional designations such as AIC, AIM, ARM, CPCU,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through the preparation of reports, presentations, and meetings for diverse audiences
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
  • Customer service orientation, with a track record of resolving client issues efficiently and effectively
  • Proven ability to mentor and train team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
