What’s in Store

We're on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager. As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex integration projects, overseeing the execution of integration plans and ensuring that key objectives are achieved. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and external partners to drive the successful integration of people, processes, and systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the end-to-end integration process for one or more M&A transactions, from planning through to execution and post-integration monitoring. Manage and deliver comprehensive integration plans with clear timelines, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure that integration efforts are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various internal stakeholders including HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Legal, and other business units to ensure seamless integration. Facilitate regular meetings to ensure alignment across all functions and resolve any challenges that arise during the process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned integration-related matters. Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing regular updates on the integration’s progress, risks, and critical issues. Manage expectations and ensure all stakeholders are well-informed and engaged.
  • Proactively identify risks and potential roadblocks within the integration process. Develop mitigation plans, monitor risks throughout the integration phase, and take immediate action to address any issues or delays. Lead efforts to resolve cross-functional challenges that may arise.
  • Support the integration of corporate cultures, values, and organizational structures to ensure that the combined company functions smoothly. Help lead change management efforts, including communication and engagement strategies to ensure successful employee transitions and alignment with company values.
  • Manage the integration budget, ensuring that costs are controlled, and the integration is delivered within financial parameters. Oversee resource allocation, ensuring that the right teams and individuals are assigned to critical tasks and integration workstreams.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and integration milestones to ensure the integration is on track. Provide detailed, data-driven reports to senior leadership on progress, synergies, financials, and any issues that need to be addressed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains during the integration. Contribute to the development of best practices for M&A integrations and enhance integration methodologies to be used for future transactions.

This role is a full-time, remote position, up to 10% Travel.

Your Expertise, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong experience in M&A integration, project management, or related fields (such as management consulting, corporate strategy, or business transformation). Experience in leading or supporting M&A integrations is highly desirable
  • Strong project management experience of utilizing Project Management methodologies – Prince, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, black belt, PMP, MOP, MSP, ITIL
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Detail-oriented and able to balance high-level strategic goals with day-to-day execution
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable in a constantly changing environment
  • A strong collaborator with the ability to work effectively across departments and geographies
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and able to drive clarity and alignment
  • Prior experience in the Insurance and Financial Services sector, advantageous
  • Prior experience in a multinational company, advantageous
