Salary: P70,000 to P90,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in town or urban planning (interpreting plans and writing reports)
- Ability to review in detail the relevant planning provisions that pertain to a development application and identify these for the report to be compiled by others
- Ability to analyze architectural plans, identify key issues and liaise with the Director to refine these
- Ability to review consultant reports, identify key issues in their content and/or assessment gaps relating to relevant planning provisions and liaise with the Director to refine
Nice to Have:
- Experience working on projects based in Australia or other international countries
What will you do?
- Undertake the assessment of projects for the purpose of landowner’s consent applications, planning proposals, planning feasibility reports, Statement of Environmental Effects, and Environmental Impact Statements and modification applications
- Respond to requests for information by consent authorities subsequent upon lodgement of development applications.
- Operate independently and be self-sufficient in report preparation be able to provide clear instructions to prepare early sections of reports relating to legislation
- Meet with the Director daily to review tasks and ensure deadlines are reasonable and achievable
- Work quickly and diligently in the hours available to make the most effective use of time
- Be a sound communicator with the Director, able to provide clear instructions and clarifications so as not to waste time and ensure the quick delivery of information
- Manage their time effectively to respond to project deadlines as set by senior management.
