Salary: P80,000 – P100,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM Pacific Time)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years’ experience in corporate accounting including financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, proficient with spreadsheets
- Experience in using QuickBooks Online
Nice to have:
- Technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with US GAAP is a plus
What will you do?
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses)
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and intercompany balances monthly
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Prepare monthly journal entries, and performance report, explaining variances
- Prepare and provide documentation for quarterly sales tax returns and annual income tax returns
- Manage all invoicing and statement reconciliation
- Assist Manager with the annual financial audits, including developing audit schedules, ensuring required documentation is prepared in a timely manner, and interacting with the auditors.
- Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes
- Assist Accounting Manager with preparing financial statements, budgets, and reports for management
