The Service Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that customers' needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves assisting customers, performing routine tasks, and ensuring the area is safe and clean.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and offer assistance.
Answer customer inquiries, direct them to appropriate areas, and provide information about products or services.
Handle customer complaints or concerns in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, such as restrooms, dining areas, lobbies, or stations.
Ensure that floors, windows, furniture, and other surfaces are cleaned regularly.
Restock supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soap.
Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
Safety and Security:
Ensure safety standards are met, including proper signage for hazards and maintaining safe pathways.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
General Support:
Assist with setting up and clearing tables or seating arrangements as required.
Handle light food and beverage duties (if applicable), such as serving customers or restocking items.
Maintain inventory and supplies, and report shortages to management.
Assist with opening and closing duties depending on the shift.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Notify supervisors or managers about unusual situations or customer concerns.
