Job description
The Services Solution Architect Retail is responsible for the design and costing of complex DN services propositions to our retail customers with a special focus on the DN range of Mobility Services globally. Partners with sales colleagues in the development and closing of services sales opportunities. Serves as technical subject matter expert and consults the sales team and client on DN service offerings. Assists in the sales cycle from discovery to close. Designs customer solutions that achieve business and financial goals as well as meet or exceed client business and functional requirements. Documents client requirements and initiates any required scoping efforts or planning with internal partners to ensure successful solution design. Evaluates services performance, market needs and client satisfaction, providing feedback to portfolio and delivery teams to ensure continuous improvement and enhancement of the company's services portfolio. Conducts live and remote demonstrations and makes presentations to prospective customers clearly articulating the value proposition.
- Provides the full range of Solution Architect services to large / complex retail customers.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the industry and competitors.
- Acts as a valuable resource to customers and the Sales team.
- Works with customers to perform solution reviews and ensure the prompt and proper solutioning of technical or procedural challenges.
- Advises customers on product integration and service transition, integration with other DN and competitor services and solutions.
- Leverages persuasive sales methodologies to manage customer conversations and help drive deals to close.
- Handles issues escalated from other Services Solution Architects colleagues, resolving on own or seeking advice / support from higher level team members.
- Provides support, onsite or remote, for industry events.
- Supports Sales by providing solution design, implementation and support for current and new customers.
- Contributes to the development of improved Solution Architects metrics, reporting and documentation.
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience required.
- Advanced understanding of Mobility Services including the framework of Android Enterprise Recommended solutions and iOS.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT Service Design roles, preferably in Retail.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
