We are seeking a skilled Shopify Expert to join our team full-time to enhance and customize our Shopify storefront. This role will focus on custom coding, creating and modifying themes, and implementing custom CSS to deliver a unique and optimized eCommerce experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shopify Development: Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes, ensuring an engaging and responsive storefront.
- Custom Coding: Develop and implement custom code within the Shopify environment to create unique features and functionality as per business needs.
- Custom CSS Styling: Apply advanced CSS techniques to enhance the design and user interface of the Shopify site, ensuring a seamless look and feel across all devices.
- Theme Customization: Modify and customize existing Shopify themes or create new themes to align with brand guidelines and improve customer experience.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues quickly and perform regular site optimizations to improve load time, performance, and overall usability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to implement site changes, new features, and special campaigns.
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience working on the Shopify platform, with a strong portfolio of past projects demonstrating advanced Shopify skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
- Strong understanding of Custom CSS for responsive and aesthetic design.
- Experience with theme development, modification, and troubleshooting.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and solve technical challenges effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in code implementation to ensure error-free and high-quality output.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical team members.
- Shopify Certifications: Certification in Shopify Development is a plus.
- Experience in eCommerce: Understanding of eCommerce best practices, user experience, and site optimization.
- Graphic Design Skills: Familiarity with design tools (like Photoshop or Figma) is beneficial.
