About the job

An Enterprise Sales Account Representative is a key part of our field sales team. In addition to selling, they assist in the strategic planning for each account. In this role, Enterprise Sales Account Representatives are assigned specific accounts and customers within a geographical territory and, with these accounts, they will work to gain better understanding of the challenges facing some of our biggest customers. This requires collaborating with customers, which is not in most technology-sales playbooks.

What you will do

  • Responsible for selling complete Red Hat solution (product and services) within assigned enterprise accounts
  • Sell the Red Hat value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market
  • Manage complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Maintaining and developing new relationships within the assigned accounts
  • Excel within a fast paced, dynamic organization

The salary range for this position is $171,540 - $274,350. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What you will bring

  • 7-10 years experience selling within the software space
  • Experience selling in both a direct and partner model
  • Knowledge and passion around Linux and open source technology
  • Demonstrated market knowledge and competitive knowledge opportunities
  • Strong demonstrable history of exceptional quota attainment
